Porcupine Mtns Upper Peninsula
Porcupine Mtn. Wilderness State Park is Michigan’s largest state park and located on the western side of the Upper Peninsula, on the shore of Lake Superior. It is the only old growth, virgin timber forest in the mid-west. It was created after WWII by the conservation efforts of Aldo Leopold. The park has majestic waterfalls, wooded peaks, rugged back-country trails, isolated lakes, pristine beaches, and numerous inland rivers and streams. One of the most outstanding features of the park is an escarpment, which runs parallel to Lake Superior and overlooks Lake of the Clouds.
After graduation, I went to work for Arthur Andersen & Co. in their Center for Professional Education division before joining the Atlanta office of the Business Consulting group.
