A Note About Modules

There are a total of ten modules on reflector XLX188.  They are labeled and self explanatory.  Please respect the Private 1:1 rooms.   When you complete a 1:1 qso, please disconnect from the module.

For CPU load, please limit transcoding to modules A and B

Please note, to run a Pi-Star or similar pocket repeater, you will also need to create a separate password for the device. So an ID/password for your account.  And a password for the pi-star to authenticate against Brandmeister when it connects to a BM talk group.

Yaesu System Fusion

Register your Radio

If you intend to use you C4FM radio as a node you will need to register your radio with Yaesu. This is not necessary if the intended purpose is Reflectors (e.g. XLX188) rather  than Yaesu sanctioned Rooms (eroom 02428).

XLX188 Reflector

Reflector XLX188 is configured to default C4FM users into module A.  If necessary, you can use your radios Wires-X feature to change modules.

WPSD Configuration for YSF

Radio/MMDVM Host: enable YSF mode


Yaesu System Fusion Configuration/YSF Startup Host: Host=YSF00118   XLX188


UPPER Case Host File needs to be enabled for FT70 radios



ICOM D-Star

Radio/MMDVM Host = enable D-Star mode


On your radio, in DR mode, simply link to reflector REF188A. Once linked, change to Use Reflector.  


To change modules, unlink and link to new module using steps outlined above.
